Privacy Policy

Odelle (“Odelle”, “we”, “us”) is a manifestation and visualization app published by Welltide. This policy explains what information Odelle collects, why, who helps us process it, how long we keep it, and how you can delete it. The short version: we use your answers only to make your stories, we never sell your data or show ads, and you can delete everything at any time.

1. Information you give us

When you set up Odelle and edit your Dream Profile, you may share:

• Your first name, age range and the city you live in
• How you spend your days, how settled you feel in a few areas of life, and what is on your mind
• What you are “calling in” (for example love, career or calm), your dream city and home, and a description of a perfect day
• The names, relationships and pronouns of people you choose to add
• Your preferred story voice

Please only add details about other people that you are comfortable sharing. Use first names or nicknames if you prefer.

2. Information created when you use Odelle

• Your stories: the text and audio of stories written for you.
• An anonymous account ID: Odelle signs you in anonymously (no email or password) so your stories belong to you.
• Technical data: your IP address and basic request information, used to keep the service secure and to prevent abuse (for example, limiting how many stories one device can create).
• App diagnostics and usage: crash reports and anonymous usage events (such as “finished onboarding” or “played a story”) that help us fix bugs and improve the app. These do not include the text of your answers or stories.
• Subscription status: whether you have an active subscription. Payments are handled by Google Play; we never see your card details.

3. How we use your information

• To write and voice your personal stories and keep your library
• To remember your preferences, such as your voice and reminder time
• To provide subscriptions and restore purchases
• To keep Odelle secure, prevent abuse and fix problems
• To understand, in aggregate, which features help people, so we can improve them

We do not sell your personal information, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers. Odelle has no ads.

4. Service providers

We use a small number of trusted providers to run Odelle. They process data only on our behalf:

• Google (Gemini API): writes your stories from your answers and turns them into speech. We use Google’s paid API, under which Google does not use this content to improve its models.
• Google (Firebase Authentication): creates your anonymous account ID.
• Oracle Cloud: hosts our server, where your profile, stories and story audio are stored.
• RevenueCat: manages subscription status for purchases made through Google Play.
• PostHog (EU) and Sentry: anonymous usage analytics and crash reports.
• Netlify: hosts this website.

These providers may process data in countries other than your own, including India, the United States and the European Union, with appropriate safeguards.

5. How long we keep it

• Story audio is deleted from our servers 7 days after it is created. A copy stays on your phone so you can keep listening offline.
• Your profile and story text are kept while you use Odelle, so your library and future stories keep working.
• When you delete your data, we erase your profile, stories and audio from our servers within 30 days. Limited records may be kept longer only where the law requires it (for example, purchase records kept by Google Play).
• Security logs (such as IP addresses) are kept for a short period and then deleted.

6. Your choices and rights

• Edit: change your Dream Profile at any time in the app.
• Delete: use Settings → Delete my data in the app, or follow the steps on our data deletion page.
• Access or questions: email support@odelle.app. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your data, and to object to certain processing. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Children

Odelle is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has used Odelle, contact us and we will delete their data.

8. Security

All connections use encryption (HTTPS). Story audio is served through private, expiring links, and access to our systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to keep only what we need.

9. Wellness note

Odelle is a wellness and self-reflection tool. It is not therapy, medical or financial advice, and we do not use your answers to make health diagnoses or decisions about you.

10. Changes

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
